Bob has managed the development and operation of complex real estate investments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for his entire career.
Before forming Ironwood Realty Partners, Bob was Senior Vice President of WEST*GROUP MANAGEMENT LLC, a highly regarded company well known for its significant Tysons Corner, Virginia commercial real estate portfolio. As the chief development and construction officer of WEST*GROUP, Bob oversaw the development of over 10 million square feet of commercial space. A prime example of Bob's expertise is the prestigious Freddie Mac headquarters in Tysons Corner, a four building, build-to-suit project totaling 1.3 million square feet which Bob managed throughout the land use, design and construction processes. While at WEST*GROUP Bob also managed the entire commercial property management department within the company.
Bob has a tremendous expertise in the management of development projects to ensure quality, reduce costs and control schedules to the mutual benefit of the user experience and the investor bottom-line.
Bob received an engineering Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard University.
Patrick J. Shooltz, Principal
Pat has been actively investing and developing real estate throughout the Washington, DC Mid-Atlantic region since 1985.
During his career he has developed and/or acquired urban and suburban office buildings, apartments and condominiums, industrial properties, land development opportunities, and senior living communities throughout the MidAtlantic including Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
Before becoming a Principal of Ironwood Realty Partners, Mr. Shooltz held multiple senior executive roles for major institutional real estate firms including Vice President and Regional Director of the private equity firm, New Boston Fund; Senior Vice President of Business Development for WEST*GROUP; General Manager of Hucklebee Consulting Group and Vice President and Regional Partner for Cabot, Cabot and Forbes.
Mr. Shooltz has also practiced real estate law in New York during which time he was admitted to the New York State Bar and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Shooltz is a graduate of Fordham University, Bronx, New York and Hofstra Law School, Uniondale, New York.
